The Lirac AOC, the finest vintage in our production, is the result of painstaking care. The richness of our terroirs and of our vine varieties allows us to offer you a full range of white, rosé and red wines. This vintage of noble origin can be drunk to all styles of cuisine, from the most classic to the most exotic.
Assemblage
This wine is the result of a harmonious blend of White Grenache, Bourboulenc and Clairette.
Terroir
The vineyards are all planted with vines aged 30 to 50 years, on terraces and hillsides with soils of mainly gravel and rolled pebbles topping an argillocalcareous subsoil.
Vinification
Cold maceration before pressing, natural cold static settling, temperature-controlled alcoholic fermentation (17°C). One quarter of the vintage is fermented and matured in barrels for a few months.
Dégustation :
Colour: limpid, crystalline, pale yellow.
Nose: mineral, notes of grilled matter, vanilla.
Palate: smooth and ample, it is remarkably balanced, with notes of vanillas and butter blending with aromas of fruits (prunes, dried fruits). The finish is long and harmonious.
Accords mets/vins :
As an aperitif or to fish (bass with fennel, grilled mullet) or even with cheese (goat’s cheese, Comté). Serving temperature 10/12°C.
