The Lirac AOC, the finest vintage in our production, is the result of painstaking care. The richness of our terroirs and of our vine varieties allows us to offer you a full range of white, rosé and red wines. This vintage of noble origin can be drunk to all styles of cuisine, from the most classic to the most exotic.
Blend
Made from 80% Grenache and 20% Cinsault.
Terroir
Argillocalcareous subsoil topped by rolled pebbles.
Vinification
A rosé blended of two thirds saignée from our best vats of red Lirac and one third directly-pressed must.
Natural cold settling. Low-temperature alcoholic fermentation (17°C).
Tasting :
Colour: vivid, bright, with coral tinges.
Nose: complex, powerful, with aromas of red fruits.
Palate: full-bodied, with an ample attack, followed by an explosion of vivid aromas: small red fruits (blackcurrant, raspberry), spicy notes. Long finish.
Wine and fare :
Spicy, exotic cuisine (tagine), Asian cuisine, white meats. Serving temperature 8/10°C.
